Kathleen Bernadette Whelan, Born on the 29th January 1932
passed away 14th March 1977, aged 45yrs
Born in Ireland/ Wexford, When she was a small girl she was adopted, and so were not sure of her
background. she moved to England in 1967 when she was only 35, where she lived for 10yrs before her
tragic death. This is were her final resting place became.. She lived in Allenton/Derbyshire.
My Nannar comes from a very big family, she had 12 children, of which 2 are now finally at rest with
her and her granddaughter lucy is at rest with her in the heavens, 3 beautiful angels.. her 1st born
steven and another child she lost to still born, which leaves behind 10 other children=
Elizabeth { my mum }, Aidan, Joanne, Kath, Bridget, Maureen, Gerald, Paddy, Richard and Margaret.
She has many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sadly she was taken from us, her time come to soon... she was tragically knocked down on Osmaston
Road by a careless driver, killed almost instantly.
To our very muched loved Mum, Nannar and best friend,
she meant the world to all who knew her and leaves behind her very lost family, we love you millions
nannar and we never will forget you, never a day goes by when we dont think of you, we miss you more
and more each day, even the people that never got the chance to meet you, like me also.
you have a very large family now nannar and i know you would be proud and i know your always with us

Sorry to all those i havnt been able to light candles in a while, had problems getting on to the
site.am back now so il pay a visit to ur dearest shortly, also i work alot of hours so am not always
able to get on. thank you to everyone who has kindly lit candles and tributes to my wonderful nanna

32yrs passed bye already

hey nanna, went home to visit mum last week and had a great time, sori we didnt make it to ur resting place but the weather wasnt to great, so i said we will definatly come and visit u next time were bak,bring u some nice flowers. ur resting place is looking lovely i have some pics that kerry took for me and i will upload them on here for every1 to see. because nanna u were and still are a very special lady to all of us, even the many of us that didnt get the chance to meet u.ur memory will always live on through our parents onto us through generations.send a certain some1 ur love and support in times of there need nanna, if u was here u wud say 'put ur chin up......things take time, it will happen!' were all thinking of you everyday and one day we will all meet.

happy easter nanna,dont think that because ive not been on i av forgotten you, that will never happen. soon i will av the internet and i will be on er almost everyday just to send u my love. i had a drink for u on st patricks day and i know u wud of had afew tipples or two! its been32 yrs now and ur memory stil lives on in many people friends and family, we all miss u dearly and everyday ur in our thoughts. we wish you was here nanna but we know ur at peace and ur always by our sides guiding us the right way. il be coming to bring you some flowers very soon so make it known to me ur around.
